A Capture The Flag (CTF) competition provides the opportunity for teams (or individuals) to challenge and compete in the art of computer security, normally and in the simplest case by gathering points by finding and exploiting vulnerabilities to gain access to some hidden or protected data, known as the "flag".

WHY Midnight Sun CTF

Our society depends on our technology, and the safety and security of it depends on the resilience of our systems and the skills of our people. The Midnight Sun CTF started as a common interest in technology skills and societal resilience between the Networked Systems Security (NSS) group at KTH, the HackingForSoju Team and, all with a desire to promote the cyber security eco-system in the region. This is why we connect the Midnight Sun CTF to the CyberSecurity and Privacy (CySeP) summer school and plan to have them each June together

The final event is in June (15th-16h) in Stockholm, Sweden, with the online qualifier in April (5th-6th). The final event is hosted by the NSS group at the premises of the School of EECS at the main KTH campus, right after the end of CySeP.
